CWC Commercial Waterproofing(“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a commercial waterproofing contractor serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Work includes foundation membranes, interior drainage, parking garage coatings, crack injection, elevator pit repairs, balcony and terrace waterproofing, sump systems, envelope sealants, and emergency leak response. This policy describes how we handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). It is written for property managers, condo boards, facility teams, and GCs who send us leak photos or quote forms. It is not legal advice. We may revise it when our tools or practices change.

What We Collect for Waterproofing Work

Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:

• Contact and account details — name, phone, email, company or building name, role (for example property manager or board contact), and preferred callback times.
• Site and leak information — property address, unit or garage level, where water shows up, recent storm history, access notes, elevator contractor contacts, and up to three optional photos (10MB each) from the quote form.
• Project coordination records — certificates of insurance requests, board or ownership contacts, insurer or adjuster names you ask us to include, and notes needed to schedule excavation, coating cure times, or after-hours work.
• Website logs — IP address, browser type, and pages viewed so we can keep the site reliable and see which service pages help visitors.

We do not collect payment card numbers on the website. Invoicing and payment for approved work happen through normal commercial channels after scope is agreed.

Why We Use That Information

We use personal information to:

• Diagnose leak paths and prepare written waterproofing scopes
• Schedule site reviews, excavation, coating, injection, or drainage work
• Dispatch 24/7 emergency water-control crews when you call
• Send estimates, invoices, warranty paperwork, and photo documentation
• Coordinate with GCs, elevator contractors, or insurers when you request it
• Meet insurance, safety, accounting, and legal record-keeping duties

If we ever want to use your information for a purpose that is not related to quoting or completing waterproofing work, we will say so clearly and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Cookies or similar tools may support security, basic site function, and light analytics (for example which service-area pages are visited). You can block cookies in your browser; some parts of the quote form or layout may not work as well if you do.

Who Else May See Your Information

We do not sell personal information. We only share it when it is needed to run a job or operate the business, such as:

• Field crews and approved subcontractors assigned to your waterproofing scope
• Membrane, coating, drain, or pump suppliers fulfilling materials for the project
• Hosting, email (Mailgun), and form-processing providers that support this website
• Insurers, adjusters, or building managers when you ask us to coordinate with them
• Authorities when the law requires disclosure or when safety is at risk

Vendors who process information for us are expected to use it only for our instructions and to protect it with reasonable safeguards.

Retention of Project Records

Quote forms, leak photos, scopes, invoices, and warranty files are kept for as long as they are needed for the project, transferable warranty support, insurance claims, or legal and accounting retention. When a record is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where practical.

Safeguards

We use commercially reasonable steps to reduce the risk of loss, theft, or unauthorized access to personal information. No online form or email system is perfectly secure. If you send sensitive building details or photos, use the channels we provide and avoid putting passwords or payment data in the quote form.

Access, Correction, and Consent

You may ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information we hold about you
• Correct contact or building details that are wrong or outdated
• Withdraw consent for optional marketing messages, where those apply
